Enduring-power-of-attorney-particular for use in TAS
General Power of Attorney for a person in Tasmania who
shall be unable to deal with their own affairs for fixed period
of time.
About this document
This is a General Powers of Attorney for use in Tasmania only. It specifies certain powers which the Attorney is to have during a certain time period, or until the power is revoked. Do not confuse this with an Enduring Power of Attorney, for use in anticipation of a person becoming unable to handle their own affairs permanently.
This document has effect once signed (or at a later date, if you say so in the document).
You can use it for almost any situation – whether you are going to Africa to help prevent conflict diamond mining, flying to Neptune, or going on a ‘Ban Shark Finning’ petition in South America. It is useful because it provides flexibility – you choose the what, how, where, when and who.
Full guidance notes are included.
